A customer call about a gas leak is usually classified as an emergency. If we have a technician available, we'll send them out immediately. We'll shut the customer's gas off first, then talk to them and find out where they smell the gas.
Testing the system
As far as gas leaks, we'll shut the customer's gas off, put a gauge on, and put air in the system. Then we'll find the leak that way, so we're not pushing more gas into the customer's home.
Restoring service
We can identify the leak, fix it, and get your gas back on—usually the same day, unless it's a very extensive job.
